What moggles is
moggles is a game: members put a photo of themselves “in the ring,” and voters pick between photos head-to-head. Ratings move ELO-style with every round. By creating an account or voting, you agree to these terms.
Who can use it
- You must be 18 or older.
- One account per person, with accurate information.
- We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.
Your photo
- Your photo must be a real photograph of you.
- You keep ownership of your photo. You give us permission to host, display, crop, and rate it within the app, alongside your display name and rating. Your current and past photos appear publicly on your profile.
- Deleting or replacing a photo removes the image, but its vote history stays on your profile and a fingerprint of the image is kept to prevent re-uploads.
Prohibited content
The following will be rejected or removed, and can get your account banned:
- AI-generated or AI-altered images. Every upload is screened for signs of AI generation, both in the image itself and its metadata.
- Nudity, sexually explicit, or graphically violent content.
- Photos of minors.
- Photos of anyone other than yourself, or impersonating someone else.
- Photos already used by another account.
Moderation
Uploads pass automated checks (metadata analysis, duplicate detection, and third-party image moderation) and may be reviewed by a human. Members can report photos; reported photos may be temporarily pulled from matchups while we look. We may remove content or restrict accounts at our discretion to keep the game fair and safe.
Votes and ratings
Ratings exist for fun. They move with votes, including anonymous ones (at reduced weight), and we may adjust or recalculate them — for example when removing fraudulent votes. No rating implies anything beyond the game.
The service itself
moggles is provided as-is, without warranties. We may change or discontinue features at any time. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date above will be updated. Using the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
